Net prices, guide values for around 20 km travel, you supply the products. Several treatments per season we plan as a package with a fixed travel cost. The order portal calculates the exact price for your sites in two minutes.
A winery with two hectares of steep slope above the lake struggles to get into the rows with the crawler; knapsack sprayer and hand work cost two people a day per treatment. We fly the treatment in around one hour, in the window between two rain fronts.
In Germany we may only fly crop protection from the air in steep-slope viticulture. Whether your plots qualify we clarify with you beforehand based on gradient and location; plant strengthening and foliar fertilization we fly on every site.
You choose the products from your approved list, in organic viticulture mostly copper, wettable sulphur and baking soda. We convert application rate and water to the drone and fly with buffer zones to neighbours and watercourses.
The drone flies close above the rows with a coarse droplet spectrum and switches off at the plot boundary. In wind above 3 to 4 metres per second we do not fly; that is part of the planning.
There we may apply crop protection on all vineyard areas regardless of gradient, and we are fully licensed. Everything about it on the Switzerland page (German).
In winter. Then we align treatment plan, sites and travel, and fly a test flight in spring before the fungal pressure starts.
The steep slopes at Lake Constance are our home: Meersburg, Hagnau, Überlingen, Reichenau and the Hegau. Plus the Untersee on the Swiss side, Thurgau and Schaffhausen, where we may fly on all vineyard areas, and Vorarlberg. A vitality map before the season shows where treatment pays off.
